    YOUR DAY TO DAY:

    • Design and develop circuit board schematics and layouts for digital and RF analog circuits.
    • Conduct testing and troubleshooting of RF and digital circuits to ensure functionality and performance.
    • Utilize typical RF lab equipment such as spectrum analyzers and network analyzers for testing and measurement.
    • Work with components required for RF systems, including Local Oscillators, downconverters, upconverters, and demodulators.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project requirements and deliver high-quality products.
    • Participate in design reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of design processes.
    • Maintain detailed documentation of design, testing, and troubleshooting activities.
    • Basic understanding of RF components (such as feeds, high power amplifiers, RF over fiber, demodulators) is preferred.
    • Familiarity with bench top equipment such as power supplies, oscilloscopes, serial analyzers.
    • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications, testing procedures and user manuals.
    • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and meet project timelines.

    YOU ARE THE RIGHT PERSON FOR THIS JOB IF YOU HAVE:

    • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, or its equivalent
    • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience
    • Proven experience in circuit board schematic and layout design for digital and RF analog circuits.
    • Strong understanding of RF and digital circuit testing and troubleshooting.
    • Strong analytical skills.
    • Able to think creatively.
    • Proficient understanding of engineering processes and engineering design tools.
    • Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
    • Accurate and strong attention to detail.
    • Proficient in MS Office and popular design software.
    • Ability to multitask and manage time effectively.
    • Highly skilled in communicating issues, impacts, and corrective actions.
    • Excellent independent judgement and ability to handle complex problems.
    • Demonstrated ability to track scope growth.
    • Demonstrates initiative and exercises strong independent judgement.

    This position requires potential access to technology controlled under the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) or the Export Administration Regulations (EAR). The successful candidate must be a "U.S. Person" as defined under ITAR and EAR. In order to be a U.S. Person for ITAR and EAR purposes, you must (i) be a citizen or national of the United States; or (ii) be a lawful permanent resident of the United States; or (iii) a protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3).
