    Overview

    Plan, develop, organize, implement, direct, and evaluate the human resource function for the Janus International companies.

    Responsibilities
    • Lead the HR team, providing direction and support to ensure alignment with Operational business objectives and best practices across the various HR disciplines.
    • Review current people strategies, policies, and processes and provide leadership and direction to ensure Company compensation, benefit, leadership development, talent acquisition, training, and talent management programs are aligned with business strategy and are competitive, drive productivity and performance, and address employees' needs.
    • Ensure staffing needs are met through appropriate sourcing, marketing, and taking regional/line of business specifics into consideration.
    • Promote innovative performance management models that address the objectives of the business while attracting, retaining, motivating, and rewarding a high-performance workforce with an accountability culture at all levels.
    • Work with the VP of HR to coordinate organizational planning that evaluates structure and workforce planning throughout the organization to ensure the effective handling of business requirements.
    • Ensure the HR organizational culture has a high sense of urgency, comprehensive business knowledge and acumen, commitment to value-added services, and a sense of accountability.
    • Monitor evolving government influences on management policies, processes, and practices, and ensure the company is compliant with all applicable laws and regulations, and understand legal requirements and government reporting regulations affecting Human Resources (e.g., OSHA, EEO, ERISA, and DOL) and direct the preparation of information requested or required for compliance. Ensure legal compliance at all times for all HR activities and processes and consult with operations management on all employee relations issues to minimize risk and future litigation.
    • May perform other additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.
    Qualifications
    • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field with 7+ years of experience leading the Human Resources function, preferably in a publicly traded, high-growth company or equivalent combination of relevant education, training, and experience reflecting the ability to successfully perform the role.
    • Ability to build rapport and interact effectively with personnel at all levels within the Company and with vendors and business partners outside the Company.
    • Experience collaborating closely with company officers/executives, division leaders, and finance to successfully ensure management of the Human Resource function company-wide.
    • Demonstrated ability to professionally respond to stressful situations in a patient, friendly, and timely manner.
    • Experience in driving organizational change and development.
    • Ability to prioritize and effectively plan work activities, use time efficiently, plan for additional resources as needed, and develop realistic action plans.
    • Exemplary ethical behavior and good judgment demonstrated at all times.
    • Excellent listening, verbal, and written communication skills.
    • Effective problem-solving, time and project management, and presentation skills.
    • Representation of the Company in a highly professional manner both within and outside of the work environment.
    • Flexible with the ability to successfully manage ever-changing priorities, as necessary.
    • A collaborative team player.
    • Highly Proficient in using HRIS with good PC knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook, database creation, and report generation
    • Ability to travel on occasion to different work locations/states.
