Job Title:
Software Verification and Validation Engineer

Job Location:
Huntsville, Alabama

Must Haves
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering or related scientific field

6 years' experience.

Experience performing verification and validation of software systems
Strong analytical background, capable of devising and performing scientific studies
Experience developing and managing the process of verifying that software products operate and comply with requirements and/or design
Experience providing technical expertise in testing and product knowledge, write test procedures, and develop test plans.

Experience evaluating and coordinating test process including test requirements, planning, execution, and reporting.

Experience configuring the necessary hardware and operating environments as needed to complete assigned testing, and provide technical know-how on products, operating systems and specialized environments.

Experience performing evaluations of various software related products and assessments of software products through all phases of the development life cycle, including software specifications, design verification, coding, testing and results data validation.

Nice to haves
Strong written and oral communication skills, and multi-tasks with strong attention to detail and excellent follow-through skills.
Experience working in an Agile environment
Missile defense asset knowledge (interceptor missiles, kill vehicles, radars, etc.)

Candidate must be a US Citizen and possess (and be able to maintain) a Final Secret Clearance.
