    We are adding experienced Stamping Repair Technicians to our team This role would provide stamping press inspection, preventative maintenance, and repair services to AUTOKINITON manufacturing facilities.


    • Performs inspections on stamping presses and associated equipment


    • Visually inspects and listens to machines and equipment to locate causes of malfunctions


    • Inspects and measures parts to detect wear, misalignment, or other problems


    • Major and minor repairs to stamping presses and associated equipment


    • Dismantles machines and equipment to gain access to problem area


    • Repairs made in the field at customer location


    • Operates forklifts, articulating booms, scissor lifts and mobile cranes, overhead cranes


    • Disassemble, move, reassemble, and install machinery


    • Reports the need for repairs to the immediate Supervisor


    • Dismantles machines and equipment to gain access to problem area


    • Removes and replaces worn or defective parts


    • Realigns and adjusts components such as spindles and clutches


    • Locates damaged air and hydraulic pipes on machine


    • Measures, cuts, threads, and installs new pipe


    • Starts machines and equipment to test operation following repair


    • Wire and troubleshoot basic electrical control circuits


    • Modifies computer controlled motion of robot

    Requirements: (Some Travel Required)

  • Journeyman's card required or High school Diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and /or training; or equivalent combination of education or experience.


    • Able to interprets mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic drawings


    • Ability to travel when required


    • Able to work outside when required


    • Basic toolroom machinery


    • Basic measuring tools


    • Hilo Operation


    • Overhead Crane Operation


    • Aerial Lift Operation


    • Welding
