- Equipment Maintenance and Repairs: Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on machinery, equipment, and systems to minimize downtime and ensure smooth operations. This involves mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic troubleshooting and repairs.
- Preventive Maintenance: Establish and adhere to preventive maintenance schedules to guarantee equipment reliability and durability. Conduct regular inspections, lubrication, and adjustments to maintain machinery in prime working condition.
- Troubleshooting and Diagnostics: Identify equipment malfunctions, diagnose issues, and implement effective solutions. Utilize diagnostic tools, manuals, and technical expertise to identify and resolve mechanical problems.
- Equipment Installation and Upgrades: Aid in the installation, configuration, and testing of new equipment or machinery. Collaborate with team members or contractors to ensure proper integration and functionality.
- Safety and Compliance: Abide by all safety protocols and regulations during maintenance tasks. Keep accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment performance. Ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards.
- Documentation and Reporting: Record maintenance and repair tasks, including work orders, parts used, and repairs completed. Offer regular reports on equipment status, maintenance schedules, and any recurring problems.
- Collaboration and Communication: Coordinate with other maintenance team members, supervisors, and production staff to schedule maintenance activities and address equipment-related issues. Communicate effectively to report progress, issues, and recommendations.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to enhance equipment performance, reliability, and efficiency. Propose and implement process improvements or equipment upgrades to optimize operations.

- RO Systems
- Cooling Tunnel Chemistry
- Minimum of 3 years of prior experience in food production line maintenance
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Demonstrated experience as a maintenance mechanic or similar role, preferably in an industrial or manufacturing setting
- Sound mechanical aptitude and understanding of mechanical systems, including hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical systems, and PLCs
- Proficient in reading and interpreting technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints
- Skilled in utilizing various hand and power tools for maintenance and repairs
- Familiarity with preventive maintenance practices and computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) is advantageous
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Exceptional attention to detail and ability to work precisely
