    Description


    STV is a prominent company known for its expertise in construction management, engineering, architecture, planning, and environmental services, and is currently looking to hire a Water/Wastewater Assistant Resident Engineer in Maspeth, Queens, New York.

    Job Description:
    • Work on a significant project involving the construction of water shafts and water distribution systems.
    • Lead a team in managing various aspects of the project to ensure its successful completion.
    • Collaborate with different personnel to oversee project controls, deliverables, schedule, and budget.
    • Interact with the Construction Contractor, handle communication, and resolve conflicts effectively.

    Required Skills:
    • Demonstrated ability to multitask, proactive management skills, and forward-thinking leadership.
    • Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field with a minimum of 10 years of experience.
    • Previous experience on NYC DEP projects preferred.
    • Familiarity with project contract terms and conditions.
    • Professional engineer's license in New York State is advantageous.
    • Training in project or construction management is desired.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
    • Strong writing and presentation abilities.
    • Advanced degree in engineering is a plus.
