    Job Summary:

    The Certified Surgical Tech plays a crucial role in the surgical team as the primary scrub technician. They handle instruments, supplies, and equipment during surgeries and ensure the operating room is ready for procedures.

    Collaboration and teamwork are key to success in this role.


    Essential Functions:
    • Prepare and organize operating room equipment, instruments, and supplies for surgical procedures
    • Assist in maintaining the sterile field and provide instruments and supplies during procedures
    • Clean, wrap, and prepare instruments for sterilization
    • Care for specimens, monitor medications, and assist with dressings
    • Other duties as assigned

    SHIFT/SCHEDULE
    Full Time - Scheduled for 40 Weekly Hours
    Shift Time - All Shifts

    Education:
    Associates Degree, Surgical Tech
    Or, Vocational Certification, Surgical Tech

    Licensing & Certifications:
    Graduate of an accredited surgical technologist program
    Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification
    Basic Life Support (BLS) – American Heart Association

    Experience (preferred):
    Minimum of one year perioperative experience
