The Virginia Office of the Attorney General (OAG) serves as the law firm for the Commonwealth. Representing the people of Virginia and various state agencies, boards, and commissions, we offer a challenging opportunity for public service along with a comprehensive compensation package. The Correctional Litigation Section at OAG is currently looking for an attorney to represent and advise clients such as the Virginia Department of Corrections, Department of Juvenile Justice, and Parole Board. As part of this role, you will handle litigation in state and federal courts concerning alleged violations of inmates' constitutional rights, Americans with Disabilities Act claims, and more. Additionally, you will provide counsel to client agencies on legal matters and respond to various requests. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work alongside a dynamic team and contribute to a valuable public service.
