    Description:The GS TLS team is seeking a Subject Matter Expert (SME) on F-35 Support Equipment (SE) to assist with the planning, procurement, processing, tracking, and readiness of equipment. This SME will report to the F-35 GS TLS Operational Excellence Sr Mgr and provide guidance in support of the Training and SE programs. The preferred candidate will have strong knowledge of F-35 SE sustainment operations, maintenance, and material management; coupled with a strong technical knowledge of the application and deployment of varying levels of GSE. Additional attributes require this candidate to possess a keen ability for professional communication and business acumen, well-rounded interpersonal skills, and experience presenting formal presentations to all levels of leadership.


    Job duties will include:

    • Serve as a liaison between the SE and Training programs to ensure proper data collection is achieved for sustainment purposes.
    • Drive consistency in metrics reporting and accuracy in standardized equipment failure descriptions to ensure clarity and accuracy in execution of actions towards improved equipment availability.
    • Streamline datarelated processes including but not limited to the loading of the Ground Support Equipment and Sustainment Solutions (GSESS) database and Lightning Support Equipment Management System (LSEMS) for the Joint Program Office (JPO), to ensure 100% property accountability.
    • Evaluate current processes and procedures to identify deficiencies, recommend changes, and assist in implementing strategies to streamline our teams to be more agile and affordable.
    • Assist all SE and Training teams with pinch points that impact the sustainment of our product lines and assist in realizing opportunities to implement long term efficient and effective solutions.
    • Provide program management technical support to alleviate roadblocks, assist in updates or contract modifications as necessary to work in closing out contracts via DD250 of all SE end items.
    • Review proposals prior to submission for accuracy and completeness and advise the team on potential pitfalls or areas for improvement opportunities.
    • Review operations regularly to provide guidance between Pilot Fit Facilities (PFFs) and Training sites to ensure an understanding of pilot class sizes and equipmentbased impacts.
    • Identify synergies between Field Service Representative (FSR) and Site Activation/Site Readiness Review (SA/SRR) teams to reduce overtime and other extraneous circumstances.
    Basic Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in a STEM related discipline
    • Previous assignment in support of F35 SE Sustainment
    • Experience with F35 site activations
    • Track record of sustained high performance and execution
    • Demonstrated excellence in communicating with senior level management
    • Strong problemsolving skills
    • Technical experience working with Specialty Engineering teams (Reliability, Maintainability, System Safety) and use of sustainment tools, data analytics and sustainment metrics
    Desired Skills:

    • Graduate degree in management or STEM
    • Background in military ground support equipment sustainment
    • Experience with proposal/BOE development and manpower estimation
    • Experience working with USG and Foreign Military Sales (FMS) customers
    Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

    Remote Telework:

    The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

    The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.

    Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

    Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
