    Summary It is the responsibility of the Director Operations III to lead and direct the operations team to ensure strong business initiatives and service excellence.

    Develop good working relationships with the other branches and sales teams. Oversee the quoting, invoicing, and expense process for the branch. Develop the staff for future growth within the branch or company. Create and standardize operational policies and procedures. Professionally interacts with customers, team members, and third-party vendor/partner relationships to provide the highest level of customer service.
    This position will support our Event & Exhibit Services team. The position follows an in-person schedule working full-time in-office and/or show site based out of New Orleans, LA. Essential Duties & Responsibilities


    Lead and direct the operations team in all aspects of business and ensure readiness for existing workloads and anticipated future growth.

    Budget the branch revenue and expense. Control expenses such as overhead, payroll and overtime.
    Work closely with the VP or brand management to establish and amend policies and procedures as required. Ensure compliance.
    Work with department heads to ensure appropriate hiring, firing, staffing, mentoring, coaching, and training/development. Ensure succession plans are in place for team.
    Conduct meetings with department heads to review schedules, implement programs, and coordinate inter-department activities.
    Review and analyze job cost sheets and weekly payroll reports.
    Ensure that the team completes appropriate training and safety programs and operates in a safe and compliant manner.
    Handle union contract negotiations and grievances as necessary.
    Maintain solid working relationships with vendors and labor providers.
    Work with various branch personnel to alleviate problems between AV and Expo branches.
    Evaluate and negotiate branch union/labor contracts as well as facility contracts.
    Create, evaluate, and implement appropriate Show-site operational procedures
    Perform other duties as assigned.
    Education & Experience

    Bachelors Degree or equivalent from a four (4) year college.
    Five (5 to 7) years operational management experience or similar industry experience.
