    Responsibilities:

    Lead and manage audit engagements from planning to completion, including risk assessment, scoping, testing, and reporting.

    Conduct detailed audit procedures and analyses to assess the accuracy, completeness, and compliance of financial statements and internal controls.

    Review workpapers, financial statements, and audit reports prepared by staff auditors, providing constructive feedback and guidance as needed.

    Identify and communicate audit findings, deficiencies, and opportunities for improvement to clients and management, offering practical recommendations and solutions.

    Build and maintain strong client relationships, serving as a trusted advisor and delivering exceptional client service.

    Develop and mentor audit staff, providing coaching, training, and guidance to support their professional growth and development.

    Stay informed about changes in accounting standards, regulations, and industry trends, and apply this knowledge to client engagements.

    Participate in business development activities, including networking, proposal preparation, and client presentations, to expand the firm's client base and revenue opportunities.

    Ensure compliance with firm policies, procedures, and quality control standards related to audit services.

    Qualifications:

    Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field required; Master's degree in accounting or CPA certification preferred.

    5+ years of experience in public accounting or a related industry, with a focus on audit and assurance services.

    Strong knowledge of auditing standards, principles, and practices, including GAAP and GAAS.

    Experience with audit software (e.g., Caseware, IDEA, ACL) and Microsoft Excel.

    Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.

    Ability to manage multiple engagements and prioritize tasks effectively.

    Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and quality.

    Strong client relationship management skills and business development acumen.

    $85,000 - $95,000 a year
