Job Title: Registered Veterinary Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Veterinary Technician to join our ICU/Critical Care team at the Northeast Indiana Veterinary ER & Specialty Hospital.

Northeast Indiana Veterinary ER & Specialty Hospital is a 24-hour referral and critical care hospital located in Fort Wayne, IN. Our hospital provides specialized care in Small Animal Surgery, Internal Medicine, Cardiology, and Critical Care Services.

We serve clients from NE Indiana, SE Michigan, and SW Ohio. Ideal candidates are friendly, detail-oriented, and have strong multi-tasking skills. All candidates must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and handle difficult situations with sensitivity and tact.

We offer an extensive training period for the right candidate who is committed to learning.

Schedule:

• 2nd or 3rd shift
• Weekends needed

Compensation:

• $44-$62 hourly based on experience and skill level
• $1000 hiring bonus
• Shift and weekend differential pay

RVT Responsibilities:

• Assist DVMs
• Patient restraint
• Advanced CPR training
• Intensive care nursing
• Anesthesia monitoring
• Blood draws
• Administering medications
• Radiology
• Client communication/patient discharge
• Caring for patients with complex medical needs

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED
• VTNE and state license
