JOB SUMMARY
As a member of the Leak Detection team, the CPM (Computational Pipeline Modeling)/Leak Detection Engineer contributes supporting ONEOK safe and reliable operations by building, maintaining, enhancing, troubleshooting, testing, and tuning CPM models and software for natural gas liquids pipelines (NGLs).
This position requires being part of a team rotation in 24/7 support of the pipeline control center. This role requires the ability to provide exceptional customer service while balancing multiple priorities and supporting operations.This role provides additional flexibility to support the hydraulic modeling team to improve efficiency and safety of operating our assets by leveraging in depth complex problem solving using real time data.
This role requires innovating thinking to meet these challenges. Skillsets to develop or modify custom applications using Python, C#, VBA, DOS batch file, and/or Powershell are desired. This role also requires working with MSSQL or similar database environment to manage and view application data.This role also requires supporting/leveraging multi-discipline teams including IT/OT/SCADA, pipeline controllers and internal teammates to balance competing priorities and achieving yearly goals.
