Then look no further here at Hoag we have the leadership opportunity for youWe are seeking a dynamic Program Manager of Financial Reporting to work collaboratively and strategically within our Accounting & Finance leadership team.

    In this role one will be responsible for preparation of financial statements and reports for Hoags internal reporting needs and external reporting requirements:

    including quarterly statutory reporting and audited financial statements and footnote disclosures in accordance with accounting principles generally accepted in the United States, on an annual basis, while maintaining the highest quality, reliability, and accuracy.

    Assists with transactions entered by Hoag by researching technical accounting guidance and preparing technical accounting memoranda to document Hoags position on the appropriateness of accounting treatment in accordance with applicable accounting guidance.

    You will coordinate, develop, and update written policies and procedures over the financial reporting process.
    Prepares various disclosure checklists for financial reporting in connection with Hoags year end audit.
    This position directly reports into the Director of Accounting.


    Role Requirements and PreferencesRequired:
    Bachelors degree in Accounting or FinanceRequired: 3 years public accounting experience

    Preferred: 4 to 6 years of public accounting experienceStrong technical U.S. GAAP accounting knowledgeCertified Public Accountant (CPA)

    Preferred:
    Experience working with the Lawson applicationKnowledge of risk-bearing organizations, managed care delegation arrangements and DMHC reporting requirementsWe offer a highly competitive salary with bonus potential in addition a wide range of benefits in areas including health, family, community, and vacation
