- Schedule and supervise general contractors and/or subcontractors ensuring adherence to project-specific scopes of work.
- Maintain transparent communication with clients/tenants, providing regular updates on project schedules and completion status.
- Maintain records of all change orders and inspections on specific jobs.
- Develop and oversee project-specific budgets to ensure financial success.
- Facilitate update meetings with operations, contractors, and clients, fostering continuous communication.
- Review site plans and blueprints to ensure project alignment with established goals.
- Assist with pre-project estimating based on proposed project scope.
- Cultivate and manage relationships with contractors, architects, and vendors.
- Participate in weekly meetings with the Project Team to ensure alignment and efficiency.
- Communicate effectively with the Architect and client regarding project design, drawing scope, and review.
- Review and present monthly project job costs, labor, and projections to senior management and ownership.
- Document project progress using photographs.
- Execute additional duties and projects as assigned.
- Bachelors degree or higher, or equivalent relevant experience.
- Minimum 5 to 10 years of construction management experience required.
- Strong organizational skills, including the maintenance of daily schedules and the management of documents and emails.
- Exceptional time management abilities.
- Proven capability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
- Effective interpersonal skills and a collaborative team player.
- Commitment to continuous learning and improvement.
- Knowledgeable in construction practices, building codes, and building systems.
- Proficient in reading construction drawings and site plans.
- Project estimating skills and advanced proficiency in Excel.
- Experience with CAD or similar software is a plus.
- Must be capable to travel from property to property, floor to floor and climb a ladder.
- Must be able to sit or stand for a prolonged period of time.
- Must have access to a vehicle on a daily basis.
- Required to work in the office or at the job site, this is not a remote position.
