    Position Overview: As a Construction Project Manager located in Lisle, IL, you will lead projects from initial concept planning to construction management to final punch list, overseeing the full project lifecycle from small-scale paint jobs to extensive interior projects and ground-up developments.

    Responsibilities and Duties

    • Schedule and supervise general contractors and/or subcontractors ensuring adherence to project-specific scopes of work.
    • Maintain transparent communication with clients/tenants, providing regular updates on project schedules and completion status.
    • Maintain records of all change orders and inspections on specific jobs.
    • Develop and oversee project-specific budgets to ensure financial success.
    • Facilitate update meetings with operations, contractors, and clients, fostering continuous communication.
    • Review site plans and blueprints to ensure project alignment with established goals.
    • Assist with pre-project estimating based on proposed project scope.
    • Cultivate and manage relationships with contractors, architects, and vendors.
    • Participate in weekly meetings with the Project Team to ensure alignment and efficiency.
    • Communicate effectively with the Architect and client regarding project design, drawing scope, and review.
    • Review and present monthly project job costs, labor, and projections to senior management and ownership.
    • Document project progress using photographs.
    • Execute additional duties and projects as assigned.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelors degree or higher, or equivalent relevant experience.
    • Minimum 5 to 10 years of construction management experience required.
    • Strong organizational skills, including the maintenance of daily schedules and the management of documents and emails.
    • Exceptional time management abilities.
    • Proven capability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
    • Effective interpersonal skills and a collaborative team player.
    • Commitment to continuous learning and improvement.
    • Knowledgeable in construction practices, building codes, and building systems.
    • Proficient in reading construction drawings and site plans.
    • Project estimating skills and advanced proficiency in Excel.
    • Experience with CAD or similar software is a plus.

    General Requirements

    • Must be capable to travel from property to property, floor to floor and climb a ladder.
    • Must be able to sit or stand for a prolonged period of time.
    • Must have access to a vehicle on a daily basis.
    • Required to work in the office or at the job site, this is not a remote position.
