Role Definition
Strategic communications consultant who works with business partners to design, develop, and produce functional HR communications content.
What you will do:
- Serve as a strategic communications advisor to HR leaders, helping translate complex information into compelling strategies and deliverables.
- Design and produce high-quality communications from concept to execution, ensuring alignment with business objectives and clarity.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders
- Support communication operations, including publishing newsletters, managing editorial processes, and maintaining internal websites.
SKILLS YOU WILL HAVE:
- Internal Communications: Knowledge of techniques and media for internal communications; ability to produce and distribute news, newsletters and other communications materials targeted at the employees.
- Communicating for Impact: Knowledge of the concepts, tools and techniques for effective listening and communicating; ability to apply these theories to receive, transmit and accurately interpret information and ideas to influence others in various situations.
- Planning and Organizing: Knowledge of the process of planning and arranging tasks and resources; ability to plan and organize both time and resources to get things completed while structuring and maintaining work in a systematic and highly methodical way.
- Interpersonal Relationships: Knowledge of the techniques and the ability to work with a variety of individuals and groups in a constructive and collaborative manner.
TOP CANDIDATES WILL ALSO HAVE:
- Human resources experience
- Strong tech acumen – Leveraging AI, Solid PPT skills – ability to take ideas and represent them visually
- Multi-media content creation (video, etc.)
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
- The primary location for this position is Irving, TX
- Domestic relocation assistance is available.
- Sponsorship is not available.
- This role requires the candidate to be in-office Monday to Friday.
- Travel will be approximately 5%
Summary Pay Range:
$112, $169,060.00Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
