Job Overview
The Area Field Supervisor is a key leadership role responsible for managing the daily janitorial operations across multiple client sites within an assigned territory. Reporting directly to the Director of Cleaning Services, this position ensures services are delivered to the highest standard, staff are effectively supported and trained, and client expectations are consistently met or exceeded.
The Area Field Supervisor will serve as the primary point of contact between our clients and field staff, ensuring smooth operations, consistent quality, and excellent communication. The successful candidate will be highly organized, detail-oriented, proactive, fluent in both English and Spanish, and experienced in supervising cleaning teams in a multi-site environment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
- Lead, supervise, and support janitorial staff across multiple locations, ensuring optimal staffing levels, proper scheduling, and reliable coverage.
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure quality control, safety compliance, and adherence to client specifications.
- Train, mentor, and develop team members to meet and exceed cleaning standards, safety requirements, and operational goals.
- Communicate effectively with both clients and employees, promptly addressing service concerns, special requests, or operational issues.
- Manage and maintain supply inventory levels at assigned locations to ensure uninterrupted operations.
- Promote and enforce company safety protocols, policies, and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
- Respond promptly to urgent situations, emergencies, or last-minute service needs with professionalism and efficiency.
Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)
- Minimum of 3 years' supervisory experience in janitorial, housekeeping, or related facility services.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate, guide, and inspire teams.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish (required).
- Excellent communication, organizational, and customer service skills.
- Ability to manage multiple sites, balance competing priorities, and meet deadlines.
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques, equipment, and safety best practices.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation; travel between sites is required.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 35 lbs. for extended periods.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $ $23.00 per hour
