If you want to be part of Unilevers history, as being part of the creation of a completely new site that has the expectation to be a state of the art and future fit factory, a model for other sites to reference both internally and externally, then this role is just for youWHAT WILL YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES BEAccountable for driving results in a fast-paced environment by supporting tech transfers and scale-ups of API processes from Research and Development into cGMP manufacturing.

The Process Engineer is responsible for assessing process fit for new projects, troubleshooting unexpected manufacturing events, preparing, conducting, and evaluating process validation activities, and providing on-going support of commercial manufacturing.

The Process Engineer works closely with Research and Development, Manufacturing, QA, Regulatory, EHS, and Engineering to ensure first time right process scale-ups, tech transfer, and robust production of cGMP API materials.

The position requires execution of the Sterling Values and non-negotiables, as well as expertise in functional competencies included in this position profile.

Process engineers can suggest an automation solution to attack certain losses or participate in a factory automation projects if he/she has relevant expertise.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO SUCCEEDProcesses Fit assessment, Mass Balance, Energy Balance, and Equipment Suitability assessmentsPartners with Research and Development to ensure process manufacturability during designAssists in Designing Experiments needed to establish Proven Acceptable Ranges for critical and key process parametersUnderstands relationships between Process Yield and Product Quality to achieve Process OptimizationWrites protocols and reports needed to support Process Validation, process changes and equipment modificationsProvides training to manufacturing staff on manufacturing proceduresTroubleshoots unexpected events during cGMP manufacturing, assists in investigating and documenting process deviations and CAPAsProvides plant supportAbility to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where limited standardization existsWorking directly with the line crews on a daily basis, acts as the technical trainer for line teams and provides coaching in phenomena identification, root cause analysis and the establishment of countermeasuresUMS.

Apply the full set of UMS methods and tools to identify root causes, define countermeasures and validate their effectiveness, mastery of FI, AM, PM, Q and PD methods and tools.

Establish standards to support line operators sustain new basic conditionsEXPERIENCES & QUALIFICATIONSEngineering degreed preferably with FMCG manufacturing backgroundPackaging:

mechanical, electrical, roboticsProcessing product technology knowledgeSKILLSBusiness acumen and financial tools, understanding of the Master plan, factory priorities and how manufacturing performance of the site correlates with its finance KPIs and BGs targets achievementManufacturing & Packaging technology.

Rely on basic but consistent understanding of the manufacturing technologies of the Category to drive relevant processEngineering.

Apply technical engineering skills (Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical, Automation, others) to do practical problem solvingTechnical drawings, drawing programs, 3d modelling, etc.

Analytical capability, basics of statistics, basics of coding to collect and analyse complex data to penetrate problems phenomena and understand root causesProcess Design and manpower optimization, including NVAA reduction technics.
