    Occupational Medicine

    Overview

    This position is part of our esteemed healthcare system, Yale New Haven Health. We're looking for a skilled Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our team in Occupational Medicine.

    • Clinical Care: The ideal candidate will provide exceptional direct diagnostic and therapeutic patient care to the highest standards of the organization as part of a multidisciplinary team.
    • Patient Education & Psychosocial Support: Our practitioner will educate patients/families on care and recommended resources, providing psychosocial support in a caring, ethical, and professional manner.

    Responsibilities:

    1. Inpatient/Outpatient Settings: Provide assessment, triage, and therapeutic management of patient/family needs throughout the disease process as an integral part of an interdisciplinary team. Obtain medical histories, perform physical examinations reviews/orders diagnostic/therapeutic tests and radiologic results formulate manages patient treatment plans prescribe treatment medications when necessary within scope specialty competency standards.
