    Description

    La Mercerie located in the Roman and Williams Guild in Soho, by chef Marie Aude-Rose celebrates everyday French cooking. Bordier butter, Whole roasted Heritage Chicken with shallot confit, and a rich flourless chocolate cake are just a few examples of the seasonal menu of La Mercerie. From brunch to dinner, aperitifs and wine pour continuously, served alongside an ever-satisfying menu.

    Now looking to add a talented and passionate Sous Chef to our culinary team

    This position offers a comprehensive package including:

    • A base salary range of $85,000 - $95,000

    Qualifications:

    • Experience with and passion for French cuisine
    • A minimum of 2 years of progressive kitchen management experience
    • Ability to manage all stations from prep to service
    • Experience hiring, training, and mentoring a diverse hourly staff
    • Excellent meat/fish butchery skills and know all properties of making stocks & sauces
    • Ability to lead a diverse team, foster positive morale, and drive performance success
