    At the UWH location:
    Saturday and Sunday shifts 8:00AM – 4:30PM on a reasonable rotational basis. One hour call response time. Call is at UWH only in rotation with other sonographers. The team supports coverage across the Madison area.


    Work Schedule:

    We are seeking a

    Cardiovascular Sonographer


    to:
    Become a member of a dynamic team that focuses on providing an optimal cardiovascular imaging experience.

    Experience the opportunity to work in an environment that utilizes cutting edge technology and procedures. The team supports a robust structural heart program. The procedures include; transcatheter aortic and mitral valve replacements, Watchman and MitraClip implantation and alcohol septal ablation procedures.

    Work with other teams of health care professionals to provide a positive experience to all patients, families and visitors.

    Join our Cardiovascular Imaging Lab that is accredited by the IAC - in both Echo and Vascular Imaging.

    Work at a variety of locations, including a Level 1 Trauma Center, critical care facility and several clinics in the Madison area

    Education:
    Minimum – Graduate of an ultrasonography program

    Preferred –


    • Completion of a Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP) accredited ultrasonography training program.
    • Bachelor's degree in Ultrasonography, Radiology, Biological Sciences or a relevant health sciences field.

    Work Experience:
    Preferred – Two (2) years of cardiovascular imaging experience.


    Licenses and Certifications:
    Minimum –


    • Registered in echocardiography and vascular ultrasound (RCS, RDCS, RVT, or RVS)
    • Basic Life Support/CPR
