    About the RoleAs the FAYS Supervisor, you will Shine Hope as you develop and manage staff and professional resources to provide programmatic services for FAYS clients. You will also provide staff supervision, training, oversight of service delivery, compliance with contract terms, and management of Buckner and TDFPS FAYS budgets.

    What you will doAs a member of our team you will have an impact on our clients through accomplishment of the following responsibilities:
    • Effectively administer and supervise all aspects of the FAYS program to meet the physical, emotional, social, and spiritual needs of clients/families, as outlined in each client's plan of service.
    • Analyze program needs; develop, modify and implement changes in programs to meet changing needs; demonstrate operational competence in managing resources.
    • Provide training in crisis intervention and individual, group, and family counseling to FAYS Case Managers.
    • Attend home and school visits with FAYS Case Managers as required.
    • Recommend and initiate emergency shelter and placement when necessary and provide appropriate case documentation.
    • Operate programs within contract and budget guidelines. Modify policies and guidelines for programs as needed.
    • Lead in the development and preparation of documents necessary to procure FAYS contract during years when FAYS contract is re-procured. Submit documentation necessary for Contract Renewals each year.
    • Submit Quarterly Reports, Corrective Action Plans, and Annual Reports to PEI staff
    • Work a flexible schedule to provide services to clients and ensure program implementation. Work nights and weekends as needed.
    • Monitor and review client files such as action plans, case notes, and discharge summaries; amend documentation as required to ensure compliance with program guidelines.

    To be successful in this role and a great addition to our team we need you to come with the following:
    • Bachelor's Degree in Behavioral Science, Social Work or related human service field required.
    • Minimum 2 years prior related experience working with youth and families using family preservation model required.
    • Minimum of one year of supervision experience, preferably in a social service field.
    • Requires proficient ability to speak, read and write English.
    • Requires excellent public speaking skills and the ability to successfully communicate in a professional manner with a multi-ethnic population base in the community; ability to effectively communicate in writing.
    • Requires ability to drive assigned vehicle(s) or personal vehicle, with appropriate state license, following all laws applicable; must provide proof of liability insurance and must be eligible to be insured under Buckner's insurance policy. Must be age 21 or older to drive on behalf of Buckner
    • Shining hope in others. (Your friendly attitude and willingness to learn is more important than a year's experience)
