Position Summary:
The Center for Solar-Terrestrial Research (CSTR) of the New Jersey
Institute of Technology (NJIT) invites applications for a part-time research
assistant position. The successful candidate will develop a web-based data
archive and processing toolkit for ground-based magnetometer data. The appointment may be extended depending on the candidate's performance.
Essential Functions:
The successful candidate will work primarily
with Dr. Hyomin Kim, Assistant Professor of NJIT and be expected to perform the
duties of a research assistant, including development of a web server to
archive and display scientific data using JAVA and Python.
Prerequisite Qualifications:
- Capable of developing a website with a data processing
functionality.
