CNC Swiss Lathe Machinist

A well-established manufacturing company located in Northern Colorado is seeking a CNC Swiss Lathe Machinist.

We are seeking an experienced machinist (preferably 3+ years on Swiss) for this position where you will be responsible for setup, production, and training of the Citizen Swiss Lathes and conventional lathes in the company. We are looking for mechanically inclined people that can use their problem solving skills and experience to help reduce scrap, improve efficiency, and create quality products. We have a lot of work, plenty of machines, and a fun team of people. We are recently under new management welcoming in our new President Marco Grob.

Responsibilities include:

• Read and understand blue prints

• Program (not a requirement), Setup, and Operate CNC Swiss Lathes and conventional Lathes

• Run multiple machines at the same time

• Complete paperwork

• Maintain production quality

Minimum qualifications are:
• 3+ years minimum CNC Swiss Lathe machining experience

• Ability to read programs and setup new parts

• Possess basic tools: Micrometer, calipers, indicator and hand tools

• Read (and write) G code and M code programming

• Understand and read blue prints along with GD&T
