    About the Role

    Athletas social channels and presence are the window into the brand, where we foster community, build brand equity, and drive consumer engagement.

    To continue to grow, accelerate and scale our social channels and footprint were looking for Social Media & Influencer Marketing Manager (Contractor) to join the team and support with social media and influencer marketing. Youll support content and channel management and day-to-day influencer programming including executing day-to-day programs across paid, seeding and brand experiences, identifying and scaling relationships and outreach, and overall contributing to driving broader awareness for the brand via meaningful content and influencer relationships

    Responsibilities

    Support social media management and content, including creating and delivering briefs and supporting calendar management

    Support social-first content ideation in partnership with Creative and cross-functional partners

    Manage influencer programming across paid partnerships, organic seeding and gifting, and experiences

    Run day-to-day point with agency partners, briefing, oversee content approvals and reporting

    Research and engage new influencer relationships and retain existing relationships

    Manage overall influencer list and build sub-lists for campaigns, initiatives and events

    Build influencer lookbooks and outfitting, place product orders

    Manage influencer reporting and analytics, manage and leverage influencer marketing tools including Tribe Dynamics / Creator IQ

    Make influencer content recommendations and traffic assets for use across brand marketing channels

    Engage and host influencers locally at HQ and in the SF Bay Area as applicable

    Remain up-to-date on trending content, conversations, news, cultural events and emerging social formats.

    Required Skills:

    Minimum 5+ years of marketing experience with brand/agency-side in social media marketing/management and influencer marketing, engaging with an audience, deep partnership with editorial and creative partners.

    In depth knowledge and understanding of all social media platformsincluding concepting, briefing and optimizing content accordingly with an innate understanding the nuances of each platform.

    Experience working with / managing agencies and internal partners

    Mastery of the influencer landscape and in-depth knowledge of top and emerging influencers in our space, ability to make swift and strategic recommendations

    Has the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, comfortable adapting to the changing needs of the business / social trends

    Solid analytical skills to report on key metrics and efficacy across social platforms and influencer efforts with ability to synthesize information and turn insights into actions

    Creative thinker with an innate visual aesthetic that thrives in a dynamic, collaborative & fast paced environment

    Effective time and project management skills with commitment to timelines, accuracy & professionalism

    A strong cross-functional partner known for being a team player easy to work with, positive, motivating, and incredibly collaborative

    An understanding that social media never sleeps: you may occasionally be working after work hours, particularly during real-time cultural moments, events and crisis situations
