Cleans patient rooms offices public areas treatment rooms and other assigned areas daily collects trash changes bed linens sanitizes all surfaces follows policies procedures on patient isolation contact precautions stocks paper items supplies in assigned areas maintains cart equipment clean working condition stores appropriate storage area promotes safety workplace uses wet floor signs PPE not leaving housekeeping cart supplies unattended uses chemicals equipment effective safe manner notifies supervisor equipment needing repairs reports safety hazards manager communicates supervisor issues including inability complete schedule proactive dealing observed deficiencies
