    DevNetwork produces the worlds leading software developer & technology conferences, attracting over 50,000 in-person and virtual/online attendees each year to our annual program.

    Our events include DeveloperWeek, API World, ProductWorld, AI DevWorld, AI DevSummit, DeveloperWeek Management, DevOps & Scalability, CloudX, and more. In addition, we produce co-located recruiting events, tech innovation competitions and hackathons, and multiple industry awards programs. DevNetwork has been in business for over 12 years and maintains a cutting-edge, innovative work culture.

    We are seeking a Director of Sales to manage all exhibitor, sponsorship, and media sales for our portfolio of tech industry events.

    Youll be responsible for driving growth in DevNetwork's primary revenue stream expanding our current sponsor and exhibitor customer base of over 200 accounts, and building new relationships in emerging industry verticals such as machine learning, blockchain, artificial intelligence, and XR/VR technologies.

    This position reports directly to the CEO.


    Key responsibilities:
    Acquiring, managing, and fulfilling the entire sales process for current and new accountsManaging sales development representatives, account managers, and sales contractorsRecommending appropriate compensation structures for the sales and sales support teamsAll account management, tracking, forecasting, and reporting systems within salesIdentifying new event, media, and marketing opportunities within the technology marketplaceJob requirements:Bachelor's Degree or higher3+ years of experience in trade show, conference, and/or media sales, with a proven track record of successProficiency with Salesforce: Pipeline management, reporting, and integration with 3rd party applicationsPrevious experience managing sales teams, allocating accounts, and qualifying leadsPrevious experience meeting & exceeding monthly and annual sales goals & KPIs, managing sales plans, market/landscape intelligence, account based sales (ABS)

    Previous experience in the technology industry is desirableProficiency with email management and email-merging softwareFamiliarity with Sales Workflow Automation softwareAnnual goals:
