    Description

    Overview:

    The Project Engineer will provided technical support for resolution of engineering issues and document project information for record keeping and use during job.

    Responsibilities:
    • Must demonstrate and model Sachse Constructions core values
    • Process RFIs
    • Process submittals, identify lead time and track delivery
    • Lead closeout process
    • Process bulletins, manage documents
    • Process subcontractor change requests
    • Work in a team environment
    • Assist PM with project documents and meetings minutes
    • Assist Superintendent with field management
    • Builds job on paper
    Qualifications:
    • 2+ years experience in the construction industry
    • Bachelors degree in Construction Management, Engineering or Architecture
    • Ability to lead meetings
    • Resourcefulness and ability to track down information quickly and accurately
    • Maintains high level of professionalism at all levels
    • Cost management skills
    • Excellent written/oral communication and presentation skills
    • Commitment to detail and strong sense of urgency
    • Outstanding customer service skills
    • Must be well organized and possess problem solving skills
    • Positive attitude and a good sense of humor
    • Negotiation experience and skills
    • Ability to work in a high energy, fast paced team environment
    • Must be able to work with minimal supervision
