    Job Description

    American Traveler is seeking an experienced Operating Room RN with pediatric OR experience and BLS certification for a night shift contract position.

    Responsibilities
    Work in the hospital Operating Room serving both adult and pediatric patients
    Specialties include ENT, General, Vascular, Endovascular, Robotics, Dental, GYN, Ortho, Spine, and Neurosurgery cases
    12-hour night shifts Friday, Saturday, and Sunday
    Floating required, with travelers first to float and potential to float to sister campuses within 15-20 minutes distance
    On-call required, averaging about 4 calls per month with a variety of call types
    Uses Epic EMR; Epic experience preferred
    Travelers are expected to function as core staff
    Orientation starts on a Friday with remote components and onsite badge pick-up
    Flexible and team-oriented candidates preferred
    No block scheduling or post-offer scheduling changes allowed
    Holiday and weekend coverage as scheduled
    Professional scrubs required
    All required testing and vaccinations, including COVID and flu, must be up to date
    First time travelers are welcome to apply

    Requirements
    Active FL or compact RN license
    Minimum 2 years of Operating Room RN experience required
    Pediatric OR experience required
    BLS certification required; CNOR preferred
    Nursing degree from an accredited program or 5 years of experience if degree not accredited
    Prior travel nursing experience highly preferred
    Must reside outside a strict 50-mile radius from the facility
