- Works with Production Directors and Executive Producers to ensure coverage towards project contract, talent, licensing and usage
- Review project creative for legal clearances during concept through production
- Organize and handle talent, stock, music and usage contracts.
- Contract drafting, negotiating and advisory responsibilities
- Negotiate and license on client behalf to achieve optimal deals for client
- Support in opening and tracking purchase orders for all expenditures.
- Collaborate with Omnicom partners for keeping track of latest documentation, best
- Review video and still image production estimates with Content Producer staff
- Assist producers as needed with production start-up documents, including production agreements when necessary
- Interacts with client production consultants
- Full knowledge of music, celebrity and intellectual property licensing
- Grants final approval and closure of all production jobs along with Producer
- Track usage for talent, music, voiceover, and assets. Works with Producers and/or client teams on usage renewals/extensions as needed.
- 10+ years in a Business Affairs role. Agency experience required.
- Business Affairs experience with entertainment properties and creative agencies
- Experience negotiating strategic transactions
- Confident, positive attitude and ability to problem solve.
- Knowledge of Video and Photo Production.
- Must be well organized with strong communication skills (both verbal and writing).
- Must be able to work efficiently and effectively under tight deadlines.
- Organized with excellent time management.
- Ability to multi-task with a variety of projects and tasks.

The Director of Business Affairs is a Senior role in handling business management duties which include handling usage, license, invoicing and any clearances needed on a video or still image production/project. Understands and plays a key role with managing third party materials and usages for the agency.
