    Job Summary

    Performs a variety of tasks, including but not limited to: phlebotomy; specimen receipt; labeling of laboratory specimens, centrifugation and aliquoting laboratory specimens; computer functions relating to specimen receipt/transfer, result inquiry. Prints, sorts and distributes laboratory reports; responds to inquiries for laboratory test status and results in accordance with prescribed procedures.

    Requirements
    • Successful completion of a phlebotomy or medical assisting program
    • Minimum of 1 year experience in a hospital setting
    • Certified Phlebotomist preferred
