    Job DescriptionJob Title: Hospitalist - Internal Medicine - Locum TenensJob ID: MP Location: Urbana, IL Overview:Our client in Illinois is seeking a talented Internal Medicine Hospitalist locum tenens. You'll be doing admits and rounding in a Level I Trauma Center.What you will be doing:
    • Admits and rounding on 15-18 patients per day
    • 2 new admissions/night
    • Working a preferred schedule: 7 on/7 off – but will consider 1 7-day block
    • 100% in-patient
    • No Call
    • Working with 55 Physicians and Support staff: Hospital Medicine Manager, Associate Medical Director, Assistant Medical Director and Office Coordinator
    What you must have:Qualifications:
    • MD or DO
    • Board Certified in Internal Medicine or truly board eligible, within 2 years of residency
    • ACLS
    • BLS
    Procedures:
    • Admits/rounding
    • Lumbar punctures – preferred, but not required
    Other requirements:
    • Able to pass drug screening and Executive Physical
    • Must provide immunization documentation and go through full immunization review on orientation day
