    We are currently looking for a skilled plastic surgeon to join Dr. Lee Daniel's surgical aesthetic team at Aesthetic Plastic Surgery, LLC located in Eugene, Oregon.

    As a plastic surgeon, your responsibilities will include consulting with patients before surgery, advising them on the best surgical options and associated risks, and performing surgeries and patient follow-ups.

    You should have excellent communication skills, be able to work long hours and maintain a professional demeanor at all times while having fun and enjoying the Pacific Northwest.

    The ideal candidate for this position should be experienced in aesthetic and reconstructive surgical techniques, have a steady hand under pressure, and be an active listener who can respond to patient questions in a non-judgmental manner and address their concerns.


    Responsibilities:


    Meeting with patients to take their medical history and examine their files to provide them with the best surgical optionsOutlining all the risks and benefits associated with the surgery before the procedureConsulting with patients who suffer from birth defects, injuries, or burn wounds, or those who want to enhance their physical appearancePreparing patients for surgical and non-surgical proceduresPrescribing medication like painkillers and antibiotics, and providing aftercare advice to patientsScheduling follow-up appointments to remove stitches, inspect incisions, and monitor the patient's healingHandling various administrative duties like updating patient records and clinic policies RequirementsA degree in medicineCompletion of a residency programAdditional courses and training in cosmetic and reconstructive surgeryYears of practical experience in surgeryExcellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skillsA sound understanding of patient aftercare and wound managementExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAttention to detail and impeccable bedside mannerAesthetic Surgery, Reconstructive Surgery, call rotational coverage, consults, pre-ops, post ops etc.
