Job Brief
• We are looking for a Full Stack Web Developer to produce scalable software solutions. You'll be part of a cross-functional team that's responsible for the full software development life cycle, from conception to deployment.
• As a Full Stack Developer, you should be comfortable around both front-end and back-end coding languages, development frameworks and third-party libraries. You should also be a team player with a knack for visual design and utility.
• If you're also familiar with Agile methodologies, we'd like to meet you.
Responsibilities
• Work with development teams and product managers to create software solutions.
• Understand the current application infrastructure and suggest changes to it.
• Define and document best practices and strategies regarding application deployment and infrastructure maintenance.
• Migrate our infrastructure with zero downtime to a highly available, scalable one.
• Set up a monitoring stack.
• Define service capacity planning strategies.
• Implement the application's CI/CD pipeline using the AWS CI/CD stack.
• Write infrastructure as code using CloudFormation or similar.
• Ensure cross browser compatibility for entire application including styles and any 3rd party dependencies. (Libraries, extensions, etc.)
• Follow best practices for writing clean, reusable, and formatted code.
Must Have Requirements
• +3 years' experience as a Full Stack Web Developer or similar role.
• +1 years' experience working with AWS
• Proven work experience with source control
- TFS or Git (preferred).
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Strong notions of security best practices (e.g. using IAM Roles, KMS, etc.).
• Previous exposure to large-scale systems design.
• Ability to troubleshoot distributed systems.
• Experience with building or maintaining cloud-native applications.
• Past experience with the serverless approaches using AWS Lambda is a plus. For example, the Serverless Application Model (AWS SAM).
• Knowledge of multiple front-end languages and libraries
- HTML/ CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, React
• Knowledge of server-side language
- NodeJS
• Familiarity with databases (e.g. MySQL, MongoDB), web servers (e.g. Apache) and UI/UX design.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Nice to Haves
• Experience working in TDD environment.
• Experience with cross browser testing technologies – BrowserStack, etc.
• Diverse gaming experience (FPS, MMORPG, RPG, BR, Etc.)
