B.S or M.S in Electrical Engineering with focus on power electronics OR Diploma or associates degree (with reputable electrical technician courselike NCCER Level 4)
5+ years of industry experience with hands on experience in powerelectronics with voltage levels of upwards of 2000V
3 to 8 years of relevant experience with medium voltage & power electronics
Understanding and experience with DC and AC theory as applies toinverters, rectifiers, transformers and power supplies
Responsible for ESS test plan execution
Day to day work will include

Follow, advocate safe build/set-up/test procedures & collaborate to identifyand mitigate gaps

Software flashing on ECU, Develop and maintain Single line diagram of testsetups, Responsible for test & equipment set-up, Review test plans and write testinstructions, Execute test instructions and monitor testing, Responsible for datacollection, data quality checks & data formatting, Evaluate test results againstsuccess criteria and report out to senior engineers/technical leaders,Responsible for meeting lab test plan on time, Support long-term vision, Improveoperational efficiency via test automation, Develop scripts to automate dataanalysis, Develop & Integrate battery testing processes, Data archiving, inventorymanagement, develop standard test procedures, BIQ etc.

Technical Skill Set

Experience with communication protocols and tools like J1939, CAN, TCP/IPModbus, CANape, CANcase, Kvaiser, MATLAB
Setup of current and voltage sensing
Understanding and experience with DC and AC theory as applies toinverters, rectifiers, transformers, grid simulators and power supplies
Strong work ethic, clear communication and eye to safety is required
Clear understanding of electrical safety NFPA70 (NEC)
