    Program Manager I

    Summary:

    The main function of a Compliance Program Manager (PM) for Accessories is to plan, direct, or coordinate activities in such fields as engineering, research and development, and product roll-out, etc or any other non-IT based project. This role will function as part of a team embedded in the product development of Reality Labs accessories, gathering and communications requirements while tracking important program milestones. Compliance PM is expected to have a good understanding of consumer electronics, analytical testing, demonstrated experience in program management and has worked in a collaborative cross functional, fast-paced environment.

    Responsibilities:
    • Coordinate projects, making detailed plans to accomplish goals and directing the integration of technical activities.
    • Clear and effective communication of HW Compliance goals and findings with cross functional team and leadership.
    • Present and explain proposals, reports and findings to clients.
    • Analyze technology, resource needs and market demand, to plan and assess the feasibility of projects.
    • Confer with management, production and cross-functional teams to discuss project specifications and procedures.
    • Review and recommend or approve compliance plans.
    • Direct, review and approve product designs and changes that impact compliance.
    • Consult or negotiate with clients to prepare project specifications.

    • Strong ability to work independently and manage one's time.
    • Ability to prioritize programs and issues to meet timelines within a fast paced environment
    • Strong leadership and mentoring skills necessary to provide support and constructive performance feedback.
    • Strong knowledge of production processes, quality control, costs and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of consumer electronics products.
    • Strong knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, and production methods.
    • Strong knowledge of computer software, such as MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Project, Visio, Google Suite, etc.
    Education/Experience:
    • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
    • Experience working in the consumer electronics industry.
    Pay range is $34 - $39 per hour with full benefits available, including paid time off, medical/dental/vision/life insurance, 401K, parental leave, and more. Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. Pay is based on several factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
