    Experience whats next at AvnetJob Summary:
    Evaluate and monitor Newark customers assigned credit limits to determine credit-worthiness and acceptable risk.
    Evaluate credit worthiness of new customers to ensure proper risk is taken.
    Perform reporting detailing credit limit issues.

    Perform on account order release or hold activitiesAssist and support the Collections Supervisors with placement of 3rd Party Collection accounts.

    Maintain 3rd Party Collection agencys invoices and checksMaintain agencys invoicesPrepare and Maintain Department KPI reports for Management to review on a monthly basisPrincipal Responsibilities:

    Perform hold or release decisions on incoming On-Account orders to ensure appropriate credit limit and delinquency tolerances have been metGather and analyze pertinent information from a variety of sources to make sound credit decisions using Newark business rulesRun D&B reports to determine customers creditworthiness.

    Perform maintenance on accounts including, but not limited to, credit limit assignment, hierarchies, analyst assignments.

    Answer incoming department emails regarding Credit questions and requestsRefresh weekly orders on Credit Hold to distribute to the entire Sales teamMaintain agencys invoices, checks and any relevant billing issuesWork with Collections Supervisors on possible placement of delinquent accounts.

    Manage agency progress reports.
    Manage bankruptcy accounts including proof of claim filing and preference claims.
    Close interaction with all collections agencies.


    Job Level Specifications:

    Maintain a positive working relationships with Sales Team and our Customers despite holding orders and placing accounts for 3rd party collections.

    Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    Ability to comply to work instructions.
    Ability to work independently while meeting stated objectives consistently.
    Excellent knowledge of MS office products especially MS Excel.
    Ability to learn in-house systems (Siebel and BPCS) including queries.
    Excellent decision-making skills.


    Work Experience:
    Typically requires a minimum of five years of related experience.
    Education and Certification(s): High School Diploma or equivalent
