    The Internship Program

    Experience an 11-week internship at Mallinckrodt, immersing yourself in the pharmaceutical world. As an MNK Intern, you will engage in impactful work related to your field of study and gain practical experience in a corporate setting. Our program offers networking opportunities, professional development workshops, and community service initiatives.

    Role Overview

    Join as a Mechanical Integrity/Reliability Engineering Intern within the maintenance department, working under the guidance of the maintenance manager or reliability lead. Contribute to the team by troubleshooting equipment, leading analysis investigations, and enhancing maintenance strategies. This role involves a mix of field and desk work.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Conduct root cause analysis for equipment failures.
    • Update maintenance strategies based on recommendations.
    • Create detailed instructions for equipment repairs.
    • Perform preventative maintenance activities.
    • Collaborate with mechanics and operations for smooth production.

    Requirements

    Education/Experience/Skills:

    • Currently pursuing a degree or recent graduate in mechanical, chemical, or maintenance engineering.
    • Hands-on experience with industrial equipment.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office tools.

      • Working Relationships/Scope

      Report to the Maintenance and Reliability Manager.
    • Collaborate with maintenance staff, technicians, and engineers.
