    SPA's Sea Land Air (SLA) Division supports a diverse portfolio of national security government clients, including the Undersea Enterprise, the Navy Surface Community, the Navy MPTE Enterprise, the Air Force, Army, DoD Agencies, DARPA, international clients including the Canadian Navy and Australian Defence Force
    Our primary objective is to provide timely, objective and analytic assessments that integrate the policy, operational, technical, programmatic and acquisition aspects of our clients' challenges
    Leveraging both in-domain and cross-domain expertise to maximize our clients' success, SLA Division acts as trusted agents to senior decision-makers and key leaders and excels at providing data driven analytic insights, systems engineering, strategies and plans that address current and emerging challenges to national security
    SPA's Air Force and Army Programs Group provides aviation-focused analysis and program management for life-cycle systems engineering and logistics support, rapid capabilities development and fielding, cyber warfare operations, nuclear C3, and integrated air and missile defense planning
    We provide advanced studies, wargame development, and analysis to support materiel operations, supply strategies, and fleet readiness
    SPA has a near tearm need for a Exercise Project Officer to join our team at Hickam AFB, HI
    #MC Responsibilities Responsible for formulating, developing, assisting with implementation, and documenting each assigned exercise/engagement
    Specifically, the contractor shall plan and organize assigned exercises, estimate costs and funding within assigned budget, and conduct all phases of the exercise planning cycle from the time of assignment through the after-action assessment
    Coordinate and communicate with other offices and activities (e.g.,USINDOPACOM, HQ PACAF, other service components, NAF agencies, Wings, etc.) that have a role in the assigned exercise
    EPOs shall coordinate with USAF and/or other service component planners and their staffs to provide guidance, assistance, and training to ensure continuity of effort and the orderly management andexecution of the operations and logistics support functions
    Be familiar with historic inter-country relationships, and country specific customs and courtesies while planning PACAF participation in assigned exercises and engagements

    Additionally, EPOs will account for current and projected PACAF force structure (i.e., country location, name of Wings and NAFs, type of aircraft assigned, etc.), PACAF roles, responsibilities, force presentation doctrine, and capabilities (i.

    Commander Air Force Forces (COMAFFOR); Joint Forces Air Component Commander (JFACC); Air Operations Center; etc.) when coordinating with partner nations and other service components
    These factors will be key to shaping and scoping PACAF participation in the full JELC of exercises/engagements

    Salaries are commensurate with experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations

    Hawai'i Pay Transparency Range:
    $125 - $155k

    Qualifications Required Qualifications:

    • Possess current military experience within the last 5-10 years
    • Previous military officer background; rated and/or logistics experience
    • 3 years of experience planning USAF MAJCOM-level, or equivalent exercises
    • 3-years aviation background (Pilot/Navigator/Air Battle Manager/ Aircrew Member) to lead planning or conduct Field Training Exercises, Command Post Exercises, Staff Exercises or Table-Top Exercises
    • Knowledge/familiarity with operational and logistical support requirements for exercises, deployments, and mobilizations
    • Knowledge/familiarity with the PACAF force structure (i.e., country location, name of Wings and NAFs, type of aircraft assigned, etc.)
    • Possess a working knowledge of USINDOPACOM/PACOM Theater Campaign Plan (TCP) and PACAF Strategy

    Secret Security Clearance Desired Qualifications:

    • Air Operations Center (AOC) and/or MAJCOM/NAF Staff experience (highly desired)
    • Knowledge and/or experience with Joint Operation Planning and Execution System (JOPES) and/or Deliberate and Crisis Action Planning and Execution Segments (DCAPES), with experience using these systems while supporting USAF Major Command level (or equivalent) exercises, or significant deployments
