    This Law Firm is a highly rated and growing law firm that specializes in immigration law. This client is seeking a talented Bilingual (English/Spanish) Immigration Paralegal to join their dynamic team. They must have at least 3 years direct immigration experience.

    As a Bilingual Immigration Paralegal, you will play a crucial role in assisting their attorneys with a wide range of immigration matters.

    This candidate's fluency in both English and Spanish will be essential in communicating effectively with their diverse client base and navigating the intricacies of immigration law.


    Responsibilities:

    • Manage and maintain a caseload of immigration matters, including family-based petitions, employment-based petitions, adjustment of status, naturalization, asylum, and other immigration-related applications.
    • Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, providing updates on case status, answering inquiries, and ensuring exceptional customer service throughout the immigration process.
    • Conduct interviews in both English and Spanish to gather necessary information and documentation.
    • Prepare and file immigration forms, petitions, and applications accurately and efficiently. Collect and organize supporting documents, conduct legal research, and draft correspondence under the guidance of attorneys.
    • Stay up to date with changes in immigration laws, policies, and regulations.
    • Conduct legal research to assist attorneys in preparing legal arguments and strategies for immigration cases.
    • Provide general administrative support to attorneys, including managing calendars, scheduling appointments, and organizing meetings. Assist with maintaining client files and databases.

    Requirements:

    • Proficiency in both English and Spanish is essential, with excellent oral and written communication skills in both languages.
    • Ability to conduct interviews, translate documents, and interact with clients in a professional and culturally sensitive manner.
    • Minimum of 3 years of experience as an immigration paralegal, preferably in a fast-paced law firm environment. Solid understanding of immigration processes, forms, and procedures.
    • Strong attention to detail and ability to handle multiple cases simultaneously.
    • Excellent time management and organizational skills to meet deadlines and prioritize tasks effectively.
    • Familiarity with immigration laws, regulations, and procedures.
    • Ability to conduct legal research and stay updated on changes in immigration law.
