    FLSA:

    non-exempt $35-45/hr commensurate with experience + med/dental/vision, 3 weeks PTO, 401K match and much moreSystems Administrator IIThis role will work onsite with our healthcare/medical client based in Louisiana.

    The position includes installing and supporting software, debugging multiple systems, identity management and supporting users. The System Administrator II also performs high-level root cause analysis for service interruption recovery and implements preventive measures.

    On any given day, the System Administrator's duties may overlap with those of a System Engineer, Software Engineer, Database Administrator or Network Administrator/Engineer.


    Position Responsibilities include:
    Designs system and network-based security and/or communication solutions. Works in a team of System Administrators/Engineers capable of designing and implementing a predefined solution with minimaldirection. Completes the detailed design, and/or implement the designed solution, along with identifying and developing appropriate changeorders.

    Brings valuable ideas forward to improve architecture/functionality and incorporate into the overall design with a focus towardsusability, reliability, and cost.

    Develops drawings, perform design calculations, generates documentation, identifies configurations, constructs test plans andprocedures, produces training plans and material, or performs the configurations, implements the testing, conducts the training, andcompletes the closeout.

    Works with the team to schedule project related work and manages this work against their appropriate dashboard.

    Works with the engineering team to produce and ensure all information, applications, equipment, support, etc, are delivered toproject management on schedule and correct (according to design, properly documented and follow all company/industrystandards).

    Achieves team goals by effectively prioritizing tasks and using available resources efficiently. Participates in the review and revisions of company standards. Designs systems and networks based on requirements and specifications for communications, IT infrastructure, and electronicsecurity and surveillance applications. Works with a team to develop total program solutions for customers. Leads the design development process and design reviews. Communicates project scope and requirements to contractors, vendors and suppliers. Potential supervision of junior administrators or support staff Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

    Qualifications:

    Education:
    Associates in IT related field required. Bachelor's preferred.

    5 years of experience inInformation Technology5 years of experience inSystem Administration3 years of experience inIT SecurityAdditional E xperience Preferred:
    Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE)

    Red Hat certifications Database Administration certifications Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) Virtualization certifications (VMware, Citrix, AWS, etc.) mid-range such as iSeries/As400 Any of the following technologies is highly desirable, as well as vendor or industry certifications:

    Access Control and Identity Management Systems, Virtualization, Network Storage, Rack-mounted Servers, Video Surveillance Systems, Ethernet Switchesand Routers, Wireless Infrastructure, and Communication Systems.

    Must possess good communications skills, both oral and written.

    Must possess advanced knowledge (design, automation, integration, operation, and administration) in at least three of the following areas:

    networking, storage, virtualization, compute (OS) Must possess advanced knowledge in various hardware including servers, storage platforms, firewalls, routers, switches,and interconnection devices.

    Must possess knowledge and background experience in datacenter infrastructure and networks supporting data, voice,and video. Must possess excellent troubleshooting skills using a variety tools to identify and remediate system issues.
