We are currently seeking a motivated career and customer service oriented Mid-level Tier II Help Desk Technician to begin an exciting challenging career with SAIC.
- In this role you are responsible for installing configuring maintaining operating system workstations servers including web servers in support of business processing requirements
- You will perform software installations upgrades to operating systems layered software packages schedule installations upgrades maintains them in accordance with established IT policies procedures monitors tunes the system to achieve optimum performance levels ensures workstation server data integrity by evaluating implementing managing appropriate software hardware solutions ensures datamedia recoverability by implementing a schedule of system backups database archive operations supports media management through internal methods procedures offsite storage retrieval services develops promotes standard operating procedures conducts routine hardware software audits workstations servers ensure compliance established standards policies configuration guidelines develops maintains comprehensive operating system hardware software configuration database library supporting documentation
