    JOB SUMMARY:


    The Research and Insights Project Manager is responsible for collecting and analyzing data to help the agency make informed decisions about our clients' audiences, markets, workforce, brand, and business challenges.

    This role will help drive the agency's creation of content across several different categories.

    This position will be part of our Strategic Solution Team and will work as part of a variety of cross-department teams.

    TASKS/


    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    The responsibilities include:

    Collaborate with the SVP, Strategic Solutions, and the Strategy Director to execute the defined research and business insight plan for the agency
    Conduct qualitative and quantitative research against defined topics and client challenges
    Oversee and help produce at least one piece of IVC-proprietary research each year, including concepting, research design, and launch, internally and to market
    Manage and design specific research methods such as questionnaires, surveys, focus groups, and other diagnostic tools, for a variety of internal and client projects
    Manage relationships with research databases such as Gartner, Statista, and Qualtrics, consistently curating the latest relevant research, as well as optimizing our subscriptions to these and other research resources
    Utilize statistical software to organize information and conduct qualitative or quantitative surveys
    Support the research and analysis needs of the IVC Business Development and Client Services teams, including client-centric research deliverables
    Help manage and disseminate event and experiential audits created by IVC staff
    Collaborate with IVC Marketing, and other departments, to ensure proper management, production, and sharing of our thought leadership, insight, and research content, to both internal staff and external client and prospect audiences
    Manage and produce engaging graphics, charts, tables, and infographics
    Remain informed on market trends, third-party and competitive research, and industry best practices
    Conduct primary market research and analysis to provide market and competitive insights to the organization
    Collaborate with strategy to support the business in making insights-driven recommendations for our clients
    Success will be achieved through rigorous application of project-specific methodologies and analysis (including partnership with outside vendors), and development of business understanding to identify strategic insights around key priorities
    SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE & ABILITIES
    Strong analytical and critical thinking
    Ability to design and execute appropriate research and analysis plans based on an understanding of available research and analytical techniques
    Strong communication and presentation skills
    Excellent writing skills, including ability to clearly express complex, data-driven insights
    Excellent project management skills and the ability to meet tight deadlines
    Ability to conceptualize, research and write white papers, presentations, blog posts, infographics, and other content that express InVision's point-of-view on our clients' business problems, and differentiate us in the marketplace
    Knowledge of statistical packages, databases, and MS Office
    Acumen in the utilization of search engines, web analytics, and other business research tools to garner business intelligence
    Working knowledge with CRM programs
    Advanced knowledge of data collection methods (polls, focus groups, surveys etc.), with a working knowledge of Qualtrics
    Experience in B2B marketing; proficiency in Technology, Industrials, Health Sciences, and Gaming verticals a plus
    Confidence to advise clients or senior management on the best ways to use provided data and insights
    Passion for providing excellent service and quality


    HOURS:

    Regular hours (not including travel) are 8:
    30 a.m. to 5:
    30 p.m., Monday through Friday (40 hours per week). However, due to the nature and scope of the position days and hours may fluctuate. This is a hybrid or remote role.


    PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:


    Ability to perform job duties that may include an average amount of lifting (+ or – 25lbs.), sitting, bending, stooping, and standing is required.


    TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:

    Moderate travel (25%) is associated with this position. Travel for Company related business is reimbursable at the amount allotted under state & federal guidelines. An expense sheet must be submitted for reimbursement.
    EDUCATION/


    EXPERIENCE
    :

    Candidate must have a minimum of five-plus years of experience working in primary market research industry either on agency or client side.

    Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Statistics, or relevant field required.


    SALARY:

    The salary range for this role is from $100,000 to $140,000.

    Specific pricing for the role may vary within the above range based on factors including geographic location, candidate experience, and skills.

    This role may also be eligible for additional compensation.

    Eligibility to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program is subject to the rules governing the program, which if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.

    In addition, employees are eligible for benefits including paid time off, medical, dental and retirement.
