This position is for a full time traveling assignment supporting an Advanced Technology project which includes Data Center Pharmaceutical Industrial Manufacturing EV Battery Renewables market segment groups MSG Lead direct and coordinate execution of all field activities for Mechanical systems on schedule in a safe manner within budget and to quality level specified by contract documents
Responsibilities
- Act as liaison with engineers design consultants subcontractors suppliers inspectors other Turner staff owner representatives in resolving mechanical electrical issues related to project Develop comprehensive schedules for all areas systems that address phases of project inclusive engineering coordination installation start-up testing commissioning turnover Create utilize appropriate tools regularly monitoring progress work benchmarked against project schedule Evaluate approve subcontractor monthly payment requisitions keen understanding funds manpower required remaining work Function MEP team leader providing mentorship guidance subordinates Identify logistical field issues addressed during coordination efforts establish pre-planned solutions Prepare scope of work documents trades division responsibility specific scopes temporary operations Ensure all work executed accordance contract documents approved submittals communication MEP Engineer Preplan field activities areas ready work Monitor control manpower allocations working systems priorities accurate record progress overall duration project schedule loading activities Develop solutions conflicts mechanical electrical systems other trades Co-lead manage turnover process including start-up testing commissioning closeout turnover Identify inform field staff difficult installation requirements sufficient time allow proper planning implementation Co-develop implement quality control plan MEP Engineer
