Job description
A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist opportunity is available at a school in Bridgeport, CT, offering a contract position from ASAP through the end of the school year. This role is ideal for candidates holding the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) credential, though Clinical Fellows (CF) may be considered based on qualifications.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive speech and language therapy services to students in a school setting.
- Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans tailored to student needs.
- Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress.
- Maintain accurate documentation and participate in ongoing professional development activities.
Qualifications
- Certified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with a valid CCC credential required; Clinical Fellows may be considered.
- Experience working within educational environments preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with students and staff.
- Ability to manage a caseload effectively; caseload details will be discussed during interviews.
