    Company DescriptionBlue & Gold Fleet has been the premier provider of ferry and water excursion services on San Francisco Bay for over 40 years, offering the famous one-hour San Francisco Bay Cruise, the 90-minute Escape from the Rock Cruise around Alcatraz Island and a Sunset Cruise.

    The company provides regular ferry service to Sausalito and through its contract with the Water Emergency Transportation Authority (WETA) service to: Harbor Bay, Main Street Alameda, Oakland, Richmond, Seaplane Lagoon, South San Francisco, Vallejo, Oracle Park (for San Francisco Giants games and special events) and Chase Center (for Golden State Warriors games and special events).

    Blue & Gold Fleet operates a fleet of 21 vessels. We are seeking a skilled Operations Supervisor to join our team in San Francisco.

    The Operations Supervisor is responsible for the daily supervision and training of the union crews, ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures.

    This role entails overseeing both Box Office and vessel crews, ensuring their proper training in conjunction with the Fleet Operations Manager (FOM) and company policies.

    This role also serves as a liaison between regulatory agencies, government bodies, and affiliated unions.
    Job DescriptionEnsures Box Office employees and Vessel Crewmembers are compliant with company policies and procedures.
    Directs, coordinates, and maintains crew training as established by FOM policy.
    Ensure that crews are aligned with company policies and procedures, providing guidance and support as needed.
    Maintains open communication channels with crews, management, regulatory agencies, and unions to address any issues or concerns.
    Reviews applications & participates in hiring panel for vessel crews and box office staff.
    Assists with event coordination and acts as liaison for Special Event and Charters.
    Maintains Safety Training Records, certifications, compliance and facilitates safety meetings.
    Collaborates with other departments to support special events, seasonal décor installations, and ongoing improvement initiatives.
    QualificationsRequires a minimum of 5 years of customer service experience.
    Requires 5 years of experience in a supervisory role managing personnel, preferably in a unionized environment.
    Must be willing to work nights, weekends and holidays as needed.
    Proficient verbal, written and interpersonal skills.
    Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
    Proven success in customer service and staff management .


    Salary:
