Duties
- Greet guests warmly, provide menus, and assist with seating arrangements to ensure a smooth dining flow
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, and relay orders efficiently to the kitchen
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
- Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness
- Manage cash handling, process payments accurately, and provide receipts with professionalism
- Maintain sanitation standards by adhering to food safety protocols, proper food handling, and sanitation procedures
- Assist with bussing tables, cleaning work areas, and supporting kitchen staff during busy shifts
Skills
- Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, especially in fine dining or nightlife settings such as nightclubs
- Strong knowledge of POS systems including Clover
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude that enhances guest relations
- Ability to multitask efficiently with strong time management skills in fast-paced settings
- Basic math skills for cashiering, cash handling, and bill splitting; attention to detail is essential
- Knowledge of food safety regulations, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
- Experience in serving or host/hostess roles within the food industry or hospitality sector is highly desirable
