**Overview**

CHI St. Alexius Health Dickinson part of CommonSpirit Heath a national nonprofit health system based in Englewood Colorado. The faith-based system operates in 18 states and includes 103 hospitals. Additional services offered within the system are: long-term care assisted and residential living communities community health services organizations home health agencies and numerous outpatient facilities.

**Responsibilities**

+ _Follows procedures in cleaning and handling of dishes, utensils, equipment and work surfaces_

+ _Executes proper use of cleaning products and equipment temperature practices_

+ _Executes good hand washing techniques, and wears proper hair restraints_

+ _Adheres to department policy regarding washing, rinsing and sanitizing cooking equipment and serviceware_

+ _Follows proper food handling techniques when either receiving, storing, preparing, or serving food items_

+ _Utilizes the menus, food forecasts, tally sheets/order sheets, serving portion guidelines_

+ _Correctly stores, labels, dates and rotates food items_

+ _Follows department policy on taste testing food before service_

**Qualifications**

**Required Education for Staff Job Levels**

Ability to read and write and follow both written and oral instructions. Some mathematics may be required.

None

**Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills and Abilities**

One year cooking experience preferred, but not required

**PREFERRED Qualifications**

High School diploma or equivalent preferred.

**Pay Range**

$ $21.40 /hour
