- Develop and build relationships within the community and with key referral sources to build census opportunities.
- Utilize Allscripts and online portals, as well as e-fax, to screen admissions, insurance verification and accept new residents.
- Complete admission/lease paperwork for new residents.
- Coordinate the transition of care for admissions to the community with all center departments.
- Ensure that the accommodations for new admissions are prepared.
- Develop annual Business Development Plan for the community.
- Oversee the community satisfaction survey process including the development of actionable steps to improve/maintain satisfaction.
- Work closely with Development Coordinator to build relationships with donors, the development of the annual report and fundraising efforts.
- Internal and External marketing within the John Clarke community to grow census.
- Provide ongoing support for physician relations and coordination of services.
- Develop relationships with community physicians to increase patient/resident referrals and provide education to these entities based on scope of services.
- Conducting 5-8 marketing calls per week in the community.
- Develop/coordinate/present meetings/presentations with community organizations and key referral sources including trade shows, consumer expos, conferences, and seminars in conjunction with John Clarke Business Development Plan.
- Coordinate events for visits, presentations, and facility tours for both IL and SNF. (evenings and weekends as needed).
- Organize and coordinate customer service programs within the facility.
- Conduct regular facility rounds to ensure tour readiness. Coordinate with other departments to ensure rooms and apartments are completed for new move-ins.
- Maintain waiting list for IL and SNF and to review and complete lease agreements with new tenants and coordinate move-ins.
- Join professional and industry-specific organizations to build network of contacts.
- Attend sales and industry-specific training events to continually broaden knowledge base.
- Manage advertising with management team.
- Manage social media accounts such as Facebook account, digital marketing and assist with monthly facility newsletter.
- Reporting requirements as required/requested to include but not limited to:
- Lead monthly marketing meeting to review Business Development/Marketing Plan.
- On-call coverage including evening and weekend responsibilities.

POSITION SUMMARY:
The Marketing and Admissions Director will develop, maintain, and grow identified referral and community relationships and will direct the sales efforts at the facility level for the purpose of increasing overall census.
