- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting
- 7+ years of public accounting experience, preferably in financial services
- Expertise in US GAAP / SEC rules and regulations
- Experience in accounting consultation or public accounting national office preferred
- CPA license preferred
- Strong technical accounting skills
- Ability to interpret and apply accounting standards
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ownership of projects and new accounting standards implementation
- Effective in team and independent work settings
- Research and resolve accounting issues
- Create technical accounting memos
- Monitor proposed ASUs
- Lead new accounting standards implementation
- Engage with auditors and defend accounting positions
- Update existing policies and draft new ones as needed
